Zsys removal in Ubuntu?!

Hi everyone.

I heard of the news that Zsys might be dropped from Ubuntu. Now I know that this is obviously not an Ubuntu medium, but I would like to start a conversation and hopefully gain some momentum so this does not happen: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ubiquity/+bug/1968150

I am also curious why this opportunity of collaboration between Ubuntu and OpenZFS was missed? To me it was a great thing to have for ZFS to make use of Ubuntu's resources!
