Axis time synchronization with computer time

Hi,
I have synchronized the Axis server with local computer time.

But I am observing 2 seconds delay between Axis server and local system time. The same delay, I have observed the NTP time in RTCP packets. Is there any way to eliminates this delay between the local system time and Axis server time? or Any way to find this delay through RTCP or RTP packets?

Use an ntp server, i can imaging that it takes two seconds to apply/save the time over webui.

Some systems may not have internet connection. So it may not able to connect the external NTP server. Is there any other way sync with local system time or global UTC time without internet connection.

Normally i just use the nvr server for these. But why not Install ntp server on client and do the sync once.

Hi,
I made the NTP server setup in the local system specified in the https://techlibrary.hpe.com/docs/otlink-wo/How-to-Configure-a-Local-NTP-Server.html link and synced Axis with NTP server(local system). The Axis encoder synced properly. But after system restart, observing some 1 or 2 sec delay. After saving the Axis time sync settings again, it started working. do you have any suggestion to skip the save option again and again after restart?

did you wait some minutes after restart ? what shows the systemlog of the camera after restart, when you say it sync's correctly it should sync correclty after a reboot, could it be also that just the webui shows the 2 seconds time diff incorrectly.
