It would be nice to have an option to control PTZ cameras dependent on the areas current weather and visibility range.
For example if there is a fog and visibility is low then change to a closer preset position.

Hi @EPIC3D ,

I find this article from CamStreamer. This ACAP gets the Weather information from AccuWeather APIs and displays it on the live video.

You can try the same APIs with cURL example to get the weather information and use the VAPIX example to control the camera presets 😄 .

This will work as plugin for Axis PTZ cameras.
