Force open app in month view

Most generous and humble developers,
I hope you don't mind me posting here, it seemed like the best place for a small feature request:
I'd really like to be able to force Fossify Calendar to always open up in the month view especially when I use a third party widget to open it. Any chance we could add a small option in the settings?

Thanks for your reply @Aga-C, I see that this feature request has been closed for the reason "not planned" which is not really a reason. I think adding an option to make Fossify Calendar always open in calendar view would greatly improve the user experience and it appears that I am not alone with this opinion. The absence of this option might even be causing enough friction to make people favour a different calendar app.

I'm sure you all are busy but I wonder if you might reconsider your decision to reject this request in favour of a more configurable UX.
