Android auto support intent, my focus Calendar

I can see a few Android auto discussions and I just wanted to get a feel for what the general intent is.

I have moved to Fossify and I am really happy but without Android auto support for Calendar I am still stuck in google land.

Just for context we use Calendar with car GPS as a convenient way to choose an event and set a navigation point. Even|especially for routine trips this is a super powerful feature as we receive real time traffic status. It is a small thing to most but to us it is not, we cant live without it.

It should work as usual if you connect your synchronized Google account in Fossify Calendar ➜ Settings ➜ Manage synced calendars and store your events in those synchronized calendar(s). Local/offline events from Fossify Calendar, by design, are not available to third-party apps or the system (including Android Auto integration).

Just so I am reading this right and I go off on a tangent, are we expecting the app to be available in Android auto to select and use ? (its not).

No, the app will stay on your phone. Android Auto might read the upcoming events from your synced Google Account and display them, but that is as far as I can help, as I don't use the feature.
