While the screenshot is nice, that actually doesn't say anything about why it flagged. It could be flagging because it was not installed via google play. Some Mobile AV tools will also flag anything nonstandard, IE third party tools like Fossify. Without knowing the why they flagged it, there isn't much we can do. Regardless, I took the latest release of the messages app from github and ran it through Virus Total and MobSF Static Analysis and didn't observe any indicators of malware in the build. |
