I have done 1 pr merged and for at least 1 pr merged there is certificate for it but I didn't get it

If a certificate is issued for at least one merged PR and you did not receive it, first make sure that the PR was successfully merged into the target repository and that your GitHub username and registered email match the details used by the certificate issuer.
Most programs generate certificates manually or in batches, so there can be a delay. Check the official announcement or repository README for the certificate distribution process (form, Google Sheet, or email).
If you still did not receive it, contact the organizers/maintainers with:

• Link to the merged PR
• Your GitHub username
• The email you want the certificate sent to

Certificates are not generated automatically by GitHub; they are issued by the event or organization running the program.

If you have at least 1 PR merged and are eligible for a certificate but haven’t received it, this usually happens due to one of the following reasons:

1. Certificates are sent in batches, not instantly
   Even after a PR is merged, certificates are often generated and shared after verification or at the end of a specific phase. So there can be a delay.

2. Email mismatch issue
   The certificate is sent to the email used during GSSoC registration, not necessarily your GitHub email.
   Please double-check:

• Inbox

• Spam / Promotions

• All email IDs you may have used

3. PR eligibility criteria
   Sometimes only accepted/valid PRs count (not drafts, reverted PRs, or PRs outside the evaluation period).
   Ensure your PR:

• Is fully merged

• Was not reverted

• Meets the program guidelines

4. Manual verification is pending
   In some cases, maintainers manually verify contributions before issuing certificates, which can take time.

5. What you should do next
   If you still don’t receive the certificate after waiting:

• Contact the official GSSoC support channel (email or Discord)

• Share:

 • Your GitHub username

 • PR link(s)

 • Registered email ID

 • Program year

The organizers usually re-send the certificate once details are verified.
