Using brewed curl in CentOS 7

As far as I understand, brew uses the brewed curl whenever the system curl is older than a specific version. However in my system under CentOS 7, this does not seem to occur. Is this expected?

Had the same observation. In my experience, I had to set

export HOMEBREW_DEVELOPER=1
export HOMEBREW_CURL_PATH=$HOME/.linuxbrew/bin/curl
export HOMEBREW_GIT_PATH=$HOME/.linuxbrew/bin/git

Try setting HOMEBREW_FORCE_BREWED_CURL=1.

Thanks, it works. I also set HOMEBREW_FORCE_BREWED_GIT=1 in my case.
