Nameserver does not resolve in chroot

I have chroot enabled in configuration and everything is working fine except, that I noticed problems during notification of secondary resolvers and in the logfile I found the reason

Unable to queue notification of domain 'mydomain.de' to nameserver 'c.ns.buddyns.com': nameserver does not resolve!

When disabling chroot everything works fine. Also when passing the resolved IPs via also-notify it works as well, but I'd prefer having powerdns resolve the domains. Any idea how to resolve this problem?

The Authoritative server, when it needs to perform name resolution for which it is not authoritative, defers to the system's resolver, using getaddrinfo. You probably need to copy /etc/resolv.conf (and possibly /etc/gai.conf if your system uses it) to the chroot for this to work again.
