Unable to Open MicroG Normally and Add Google Account #1179

I'm encountering an issue with MicroG where I am unable to open it through the normal method. When I try to launch the app, it doesn't open as expected. I was able to find some workaround methods to open it, but even then, I'm unable to add my Google account successfully. Here are the details: I can't launch MicroG normally from the app menu. When using alternative methods to open the app, I can access it, but the option to add a Google account doesn't seem to work. I’ve tried restarting the app and my phone, but the issue persists. Has anyone faced a similar issue or know of a potential solution? Any help would be appreciated! Thank you! |

Same issue here, It doesnot work even after reinstalling or downgrading the microg and non of the microg dependent app work except youtube (that also signed out) |

Hi, I encountered the same issue earlier, and I found out that it was being blocked by my phone's built-in security manager. After adding MicroG to the whitelist in the security settings, the problem was resolved. You might want to try adding MicroG to the whitelist in your phone’s security manager and see if that helps.
