Should we print a link to docs in element shadow roots?

We occasionally get feedback from users which references some element in the shadow root of one of our elements. This indicates to me that we've not done a good enough job of communicating to our users that shadow roots should be treated as hands-off.

Should we print a comment in the shadow roots of elements which links to element API docs? Something like:
