Collection support for multi value

Disclaimer: Elian didn´t confirm the implementation yet. This is just a discussion to handle implemetation ideas and help with possible UI solutions.

Let´s discuss and collect how other programms handle multi value attributes in databases or collections.
There is a plugin for collections that shows multi values like this:

As far as I know, the plugin mentioned here is read-only. If we are to support multi-values in collections, we would need need to be editable.
This has to take into consideration all possible promoted attribute types (number, text, boolean, date, time, URL, color, etc.), including relations.

@eliandoran Why not just showing multi-values as read only and concenate them but make show relations and/or links clickable?

Inline edititing seems to complicate the implementation a lot for me. In comparision to the value.
I´m just asking to understand your vision and thoughts better.

The table collection is editable by nature. This includes even the note title. Having support for multiple values but not making them editable goes against this.

To edit you have to click in the table cell and it opens a "new window".

they can´t be edited in notion but you can open a "new window" when clicking on them to change them:
