Managing Weblate Notifications - I still receive too many

Hi, I'm using the Weblate hosted by Codeberg, and I receive too many notifications.

On https://translate.codeberg.org/accounts/profile/#notifications, my notifications look like this:

• automatically watch projects: off
• watched projects: only five selected projects

Below, in the notification settings for watched projects, I disabled most notifications. For instance

• New language was added or requested: No notification
• New translation component was created : No notification

However, I still regularly receive emails about both events for my watched projects. Can someone tell me how I can get rid of the noise of Weblate emails? I have about 100 unread notification emails that I didn't want to receive in the first place in my inbox.

Many things may be happening.

• Do you have any notifications set up for 'other projects' or 'managed projects' (this latter if you manage any project)
• Maybe the mail delivery service is delayed and you are getting emails that were triggered a while ago
• Each notification email has two links at the bottom: Notification settings and Turn off this notification. Maybe you can try with those?

I have the feeling this may be a configuration problem in codeberg. Did you ask the maintainers?
