I wish there was a ppa starting with jammy and above.

Sure I can make a ppa i have a super old launchpad account from 2013 let me figure out how to submit a ppa. I am waiting on ubuntu key server to update. To my knowledge latest ubuntu is only wayland in 25.04 recently. I think this could be rolled into kubuntu best long term.

This issue will be moved to the X11Libre · Discussions · GitHub since creating a PPA in Ubuntu Linux [Definitive Guide] is outside the scope of the XLibre Xserver project.

But by all means: go for it! Please have your PPA added to Are We XLibre Yet? · X11Libre/xserver Wiki X11Libre/xserver#301 once you are done.

There is xlibre-deb/ubuntu: Ubuntu repository for XLibre (unofficial) for Ubuntu Noble and up. Regarding Ubuntu Jammy there is a feature request at REQUEST: 22.04 LTS, 24.04 LTS & devel branches · Issue #3 · xlibre-deb/ubuntu.
