Aside from the big 3 GPU manufacturers, and a few other legacy drivers (radeon, voodoo, etc.), X11 has close to 0 support.
The effort to get GNU/Linux working on Apple arm64 hardware is Wayland-only. Qualcomm's Adreno GPUs likely won't support X11. I own a RISC-V development board with an Imagination PowerVR GPU, the SoC's (Spacemit K1) vendor confirmed X11 is not supported (outside software rendering of course).
In a future where we may be running Arm or RISC-V desktops, will we be forced to fall back on old dedicated GPUs?
