Can we have saved settings per playlist? Is it even possible?

I'm using Qt Interface and I have multiple playlists for different genre of music.

Is it possible to have different settings for each playlist?

An example is as follows: with ambient playlist, I would like to have options No Playlist Advance and Repeat checked, but for Uplifting, I would like to have Shuffle only.

This would help quite a lot to get rid of various generic playlists that could get merged into one newly created that would match my custom playlist settings, accordingly.

Can this be done, is it even plausible?

Audacious saves such settings globally and only once, independent from playlists. So no, this it not possible.

Technically it could be done of course if someone writes/adapts the code for that. But I assume this is unlikely to happen.

It's OK; if in the near future someone else ask for the same thing, it could get investigated.
