Scrolling on tray icon not working

Arch linux, KDE Plasma 6 with Wayland.
I could swear it worked when I first set it up.
Tried reinstalling to no avail.
So using the status icon plugin, I should be able to scroll on the tray icon to change song or volume, neither work, but middle click does. Other tray icons allow the scroll function so I have no idea what's going on. Please help.

I have tried modding the crap out of it to no avail, a wayland issue?

Made a widget to do it instead....have horizontal scroll too with dropdown options for both - seek, volume, track.
Also made a similar right click menu.

This is caused by Qt and is not Wayland related at all.
