Homebrew is also available to Linux, most modern-day developers depend on both MacOS and Linux, to say, homebrew it extremely powerful command line package management tool but there are little GUIs that make it more easy to use, like seeing what packaged i installed clearly

Maintaining two codebases with keeping the same release time will be a pain.
