Additional Splits

Would adding an option for "new split" or something not be too difficult, now that initial splitting was implemented? I'd like to be able to see at the same time top running in one tab, journalctl -f in another, dmesg in a third, and more if needed.  Thanks

At least currently I consider it "too difficult". If you want complex split configurations - there are existing tools that can do it: tmux, GNU Screen
