Major Deepgram nova-3 slowdown since yesterday?

Hi, we're evaluating deepgram nova-3 STT for a speech aid app as a better option vs OpenAI's solutions (gpt-4o-transcribe family). Both quality and latency over the last few week has been impressive, seeing consistent <500msec turnaround for 5 second audio clips.

Then 24 hours ago (and till this moment) latency suddenly increased 10x, with same files suddenly consistently (as in all the time, not extreme on-off occasions) taking >4000msec (and up to 40msec) to return for <5 second audio clips. WAY longer than OpenAI. Across both https://api.deepgram.com/v1/listen and https://api.eu.deepgram.com/v1/listen. These times are consistent when called from different geographies, and across both fast WIFI and different cellular 5G. Also consistent when called via react native 'fetch' calls and console 'curl' calls. curl metrics are showing immediate data arrival, so deepgram processing time appears to be the issue. Nova-3 streaming appears significantly lagging as well.

The DeepGram status page shows all green yesterday and today. So reaching out.
Is this a known issue? Also affecting others? Or is this wide variability in turnaround expected for DeepGram?

Holding fingers this is indeed a real issue and mitigation is underway. Deepgram has definitely impressed when it works.

The nova-3 API is accessed via fetch calls from react native typescript on iOS, android devices, as well as curl commands on zsh on macOS.
