Idea/Suggestion: Why do we use/talk about "thread" in context of FEO. Imho this is Execution order framework and you only shall express intent (flow & deps) and the threading behind it shall not be modeled, shall be only provided by framework seamlessly.

On the other hand this means that we introduce a first class citizen like activity-graph (or event-chain) and talk explicitly about deployment and mapping

I think the mapping between activities and processes or threads comes from a configuration which has to be in place in startup phase. But without any code this is only speculation. @pawelrutkaq or @vevmaki can you add that to the agenda of the next meeting to discuss?

@FScholPer ok. For me mapping "Flow" to process yes, to threads not really. So my point is that I understood we want to Model Application with N processes having N activities. In each process (here we assing activities do to ie QM/ASIL/whatever) we have a Flow for activites and we only tell sequential/concurrent runs (within Flow ofc). The threading underneath has to provide that and make sure it can "schedule" those activites in given fashion. But the flow itself have no clue about threads. Otherwise we mix high level with low level (which we all want to get rid of both from App devs (both code and flow model))
