Agenda
#Minutes
to 1.
Decision 1: eclipse-score/inc_someip_gateway#2 will be taken
Decision agreed unanimously
@NEOatNHNG
Part of the changes for the SOME/IP support will end up underneath mw/com.
-> These changes must be placed in the communication repository
Decision 2: Work on a feature branch in the communication repository but relgularly integrate to the main branch (while using feature toggles) (Given that access can be granted - see agenda point 2)
Decision agreed unanimously
Contribution will be merged to the incubator and will then be integrated to the appropriate repositories.
to 2.
Problem: (Most) main developers on the SOME/IP,Rust feature do not have committer access on S-CORE
This decision is not fully up to us, since the Eclipse Foundation is gatekeeper for commiters and requires sufficient contribution before raising a person to comitter status.
Decision: @LittleHuba will play gatekeeper for the communication repository. We will closely look at this work mode and revise when necessary or when better options become viable.
Improvement as soon as possible: Raise a committer from the SOME/IP team to be able to approve PRs against the feature branch in the communication repository.
Decision agreed unanimously
@LittleHuba to follow up what guidance there is to be viable for starting an election to become comitter
-> @mikehaller, @NEOatNHNG
to 3.
Motivation: Runners run out of disk space
-> Switching to GCC does not really solve the problem
Instead investigate whether we can use paid runners (@LittleHuba) or use a docker image with less preinstalled tools (@NEOatNHNG)
