The unified Style tab requires some tweaks, and a request for more dynamic features

Styles Tab

• ✅ [Solved in v3.30] Allow all size input fields to accept strings like px, em, etc.
  Remove the unit dropdown or make this behavior optional via a setting in Elementor.
  There are many different units available, such as svh, custom values using the calc() function (e.g. calc(100% - 50px)), or even CSS variables like var(--my-custom-size).
• 📆 [Planned] Horizontal overflow (Overflow-X) in the Unified Style tab should always be visible to enhance the user experience when toggling groups.
• 🔗 📝 [Noted] Only one group should be open at a time. For example, when clicking on "Typography", the "Size" tab should close automatically.

Dynamic Functionalities

• 📆 [Partially Planned] Include a native query builder.
  By selecting a <div> element and assigning it a specific tag like <option>, we could create a loop that dynamically generates a <select> input with posts.
• 🔗 📝 [Noted] Allow more custom HTML tags on <div> elements to create flexible structures.
  For example, this would make it possible to build a <select> input with <option> elements.

• ⛔ [Won't Do] Allow PHP functions via filters (developers can create custom functions and call them directly in the builder using macros).
• ⛔ [Won't Do] Support dynamic tags via macros, such as {my_custom_field} or %my_field%.
  This would enhance the ability to build dynamic websites. Currently, dynamic tags allow inserting only one field, but with macros, we could place multiple {dynamic_fields} inside the {content}.

All of these features are already available in Bricks Builder...
It would be great to have them in Elementor as well.

I noticed that the repeaters are faster now — they don’t freeze like they used to! That’s excellent, especially if it also works this well when creating our custom widgets. Previously, it would lag a lot when we added or duplicated elements.

Apologies, I'm a little confused about what you meant when you said "Horizontal overflow (Overflow-X) should always be visible to enhance the user experience when toggling groups.". Would you mind expanding a little more on this topic?

Custom units are coming soon. We are working to integrate existing V3 features such as custom units and other missing ones.
We also have some cool things being cooked regarding units that I think you'll like! Stay tuned^TM! 😉

Please understand we are still just getting started. We have great plans for the future, and a lot to cover in the coming months! 💪

You're right @nicholaszein. Since I saw this feature somewhere else, I thought it was possible to hide the scrollbar.

But there is an alternative—I'll record a video to make it clear.

The structure is already set up in the editor layout. It's just 4 CSS rules that make the scrollbar disappear while keeping the scroll functionality working normally.

Just need to set both overflow-x and overflow-y to hidden on the div that wraps the tab, and on the tab's own div, set scrollbar to always be visible, with a margin-right of -15px.

That's a clever alternative @emuplugins!

We will discuss this internally and consider all the ramifications. The old interface uses a JS generated scroll bar to avoid inconsistencies across browsers and OSes. It also prevents the layout from breaking in cases where the user changes their interface scale, which could cause scrollbars to appear thicker.

Unfortunately, we cannot hide the scrollbar since it's a visual accessibility cue. It lets people know they can scroll to see more. Hiding it would mean losing that functionality.

Nonetheless your points are super valid! It does feel cumbersome when the scrollbar changes the available width, causing multiple elements to adjust.
