Example of creating a service for the onboard hardware?

Could I get an example of how to make the button emit a notification over BLE?

Also a write characteristic for the onboard LED would be nice.

The docs for NRF.setServices() (for Puck.js) contain an example of creating a characteristic for the onboard LEDs.

@gfwilliams also posted an example of having the button change a characteristic.
