Device doesn't reply

after I wated all day connectiong the device using USB-serial
I have try to use the bluetooth option in the chrome ide - https://www.espruino.com/ide/#

I can see the device
I can connect to it
but I get this error

CONNECTED TO WEB BLUETOOTH, MDBT42Q 2E7E (NO RESPONSE FROM BOARD)

how could it be?
what can I do now?

I have try with another board
I get this error

CONNECTION FAILED.

I have only conneced 3.3V and gnd to the devices

what is wrong?

Reply, I guess you mean. I'm not sure what board and device / chip set you are using because your posts send mixed signals... You have to share more details 'to be debugged'.

I assume from your posts that you've actually managed to connect just fine in the past, and something has changed?

• Could you try connecting with another device (your phone for instance?) to figure out whether the board is at fault.
• And could you also try restarting your computer? Sometimes your computer's Bluetooth stack can get confused (just disabling/enabling bluetooth may fix it, but a restart makes sure).
• Since you'd connected before it's possible that you had uploaded some code to the MDBT42Q that stopped it responding. See http://www.espruino.com/MDBT42Q#hard-reset for how to start up the board without loading any saved code, which would return it to a state where you could connect just fine
