Pixel.js DFU doesn't work and lockup

Hello,
I just got my Pixel.js but I cannot use it. The following happens:

1. When I connect the Pixel.js with Power (doesn't matter if Battery or USB Power) I get a blank screen
2. When I press BTN1 short I get "DFU START" on the screen - but nothing more happens
3. When I try to flash firmware from espruino IDE and select DFUtarg as device, I get below "DFU START" the text "CONNECTED" but IDE shows an error message that flashing failed
4. When I keep pressing BTN1 after 1) I get on the screen the following text:
   "LOCKUP
   DFU ZY16

RELEASE BTN1 FOR DFU
BTN1 TO BOOT
*======= >"

Anyone an idea how to fix that problem?

Problem is solved. I did try with Google Chrome Browser on Macos to update the firmware which didn't work. But when I tried with Windows, I was successfull after the second try.
Now it works.

Great! Glad you got it sorted!

There are several other ways to update firmware too - in many cases using a phone is the most reliable. It should all be documented and kept up to date at http://www.espruino.com/Firmware+Update#nrf52
