espruino rev 1.4b not reacting

Any hints what to do if the blue light ist glowing as prescribed after connecting, but the connection/upload to the board not possible?
there is no way entering data on the left side of the IDE, which can't get the board info.

Have you looked at the troubleshooting page?

That's got a lot of steps to help find out what the problem is.

Specifically, what happens if you hold down Reset? Do the lights glow? If not, then most likely you have a broken USB cable.
