Posted at 2017-02-13 by @gfwilliams Nice - neat that it has an X server too (not that it's useful for Espruino!). Posted at 2017-02-13 by OwenBrotherwood Hmmm, X client on Espruino ... Nope: keep it html5 :) Posted at 2017-02-23 by DrAzzy If we're talking about very feature rich terminal programs - for physical serial ports, I use hTerm. It has a bit of a learning curve, but it lets you do almost anything you could imagine doing to a serial port. I never use PuTTY except for connecting over the internet; I realize some people use it for local serial, but the featureset seems to be terribly sparse for that... Runs without installation, and even looks good for it's age on Windows 10. A program to have in one's tool box I think: Thanks DrAzzy. |

For those who use Windows as their primary workstation and have to use putty and other things http://mobaxterm.mobatek.net/ is the swiss army knife for almost anything that putty does plus other things.
There are many pieces of gold to be picked after a one click installation or portable non-installation.
There is a nice gif that shows some of what it does on the home page: in relation to Espruino, play and learn.
