Gibberish characters on telnet connection!

Hello,

Working with ESP8266, I have no problem working with USB connection, but trying to connect wireless with REPL gives gibberish character on screen.

Using terminus on mobile work 20% fine... It shorts of prints typed character twice. Other than that communication works. It would be awesome if can get this to work wireless.

Hmm, what release is that?

Never used putty for this job, always use the WebIDE even for TCP/IP connection.

Check this setting options: Connect over TCP Address:

Sure! That's better, but I wanted some on the road troubleshooting capabilities. Also I am missing TCP connection option on my webIDE chrome app.

Did that didn't fixed anything but thank you so much for latest firmware, thought i was running latest.

also no TCP option on webIDE :(

Interesting, latest version as chrome app is 0.72.1.

Works on my side without any issues with WebIDE

Firmware has a vt100 implemented, so make sure the putty has the correct settings
