Posted at 2024-08-21 by Christine Hi, sorry to hear this. Would you please send me a picture of the charging points at your Bangle.js v2? Thanks! Posted at 2024-08-21 by @fanoush In theory it can also be the cable or the thing you plug the cable into (power bank, computer, charger). Can you try other power source (or other cable if you have multiple watches)? can you measure voltage between two outer spring-loaded pins on the charging cable that connect to bangle? It should give 5V. Posted at 2024-08-22 by user158791 Hey folks, thanks for the quick responses Attachments: Posted at 2024-08-22 by @fanoush So the cable looks good. And what does "it does not charge anymore"mean exactly - the watch is already dead with blank display and when you attach the cable it does not power on/boot even after few minutes? Or it is still working but does not show charging icon when you attach cable? If it looks dead there was some trick mentioned by @gfwilliams to bootstrap it that sometimes work. check this https://forum.espruino.com/conversations/382659/ and this https://forum.espruino.com/comments/16518547/ Posted at 2024-08-22 by user158791 Yea, dead, blank display and doesnt power on or boot, even after a few mins ... Let me check those links and get back to you, thanks Posted at 2024-08-26 by user158791 Follow-up ... Welp after a month of being dead, it powered on after pushing the button while plugged in ( which i had tried already, multiple times!!) Thanks to everyone that helped with tips and tricks Posted at 2024-08-27 by @gfwilliams Great, glad it's working again for you! Please try and cover the middle two contacts with tape or paint though - the charge contacts did look a bit corroded and without the middle ones covered they'll all continue to get a lot worse until you have problems again. Just for others: The Bangle won't auto-start when it's on charge, so even if the battery is flat and you put it on the charger the display will still be blank - you have to hold the button down after the battery has had a chance to get some charge in it. |

I don't have any corrosion on the sensors ... but it was always a little finicky with the magnets and seating firmly.
I tried cleaning the contacts, just in case ... but no luck.
It's only been a few months ( purchased end of february ) and it won't charge anymore.
