Post 0n 01/17/2015 states that CC3000 / CC3K IRQ does not need to be connected anymore in order to work...
Post on 05/26/2015 - just 'now' - mentions that it still needs them connected to Espruino GPIO pins (in addition to the usual 4 I2C control lines: IRQ and Enable).
So, what is the 'final verdict'?
