Battery optimization considerations in app development from rebble developers

Thanks! Yes, a lot of these make a lot of sense for Bangle.js

I guess I should really do a Bangle.js-specific page on optimising power usage? Since we have E.getPowerUsage() for getting a rough estimation of power usage it's a little easier.

... talking of which I guess we could have the app loader upload the current power usage along with installed apps (if it's set to send usage data), and maybe if there was enough data that could help us to detect which clocks drew a lot of power? It might be more trouble than it's worth though...

That automatic battery use analysis in app loader could probably be useful. But I agree it's not super important. In my experience battery life is already good enough (generally just shy of a week in my case).

I'd probably be more keen on that Bangle.js power optimizations page 👍🤓 But also there I think most apps already do a pretty good job so it's no rush really?
