Posted at 2016-10-28 by wardy I found the issue an i'm feeling very foolish right now! The led's came wrapped up the wrong way round and I assumed plugging into either side would work. But then I saw there was an arrow on the actual strip and I had the lights plugged in the wrong way round! |

Hi I bought a strip of WS2812B but I'm having trouble following any of the tutorials for LED light strips.
The problem I have is that when connected to the original espruino board when i run the sample code from http://www.espruino.com/Individually+Addressable+LEDs , only the first LED on the strip lights up and the colour does not seem to be relevant to what is specified in the program.
I saw this thread but i'm not sure if it's relevant and has gone over my head anyway :/
