How to caption a plotly figure?

The example caption of code-cell output described in formating_output does not work on Plotly Express interactive output, there is no rendered caption. How to caption a plotly figure?

My current workaround is appending a 0px height figure which captures the caption and reducing the bottom margin of the Plotly figure to make them look as if being an entire figure.
