When using Nav2, AMCL does not publish map→odom until /initialpose is received. But Foxglove’s “Publish 2D Pose Estimate” tool requires “map” to exist in TF tree to select it — which creates a chicken-and-egg problem. RViz2 allows manual frame_id input for this exact reason. Please add an option to manually enter frame_id or pre-populate common frames like “map”.
