Release Notification: Gizmo v0.1.0 and Associated Versions

Gizmo Release v0.1.0 is now generally available. This release has been approved by the Gizmo Team for the 2024 BEST Competition season. We do not expect to make further changes to the driver's station code at this time. We do expect to release a further patch release with quality of life improvements for the FMS, but no significant required functionality is expected to be added.

Additionally, the following versions are considered stabalized for the 2024 game season:

• Arduino Support @ v0.0.5
• CircuitPython @ v0.1.0
• Firmware @ v0.0.4

We expect to release within the next month an updated version of the system firmware which will include support for an additional neopixel connected to the system header. This will be an optional feature release for downstream users who wish to use an external status LED (such as in a stack-light type configuration).

As mentioned above, we expect to release a version 0.1.1 of the Gizmo software which will contain quality of life improvements in the FMS, as well as additional optional functionality.

Baring any significant defects that are undiscovered at this time, all the versions listed above are to be considered production stable for the purposes of BEST Robotic's 2024 game season.
