Which is the correct way of updating?

Hello,
I tried updating GlobaLeaks following the instructions in the official guide, but the update stops at version 5.0.25, showing a message that the system is already up to date.

To complete the update, I had to manually download the package from https://deb.globaleaks.org/bookworm/
and install it using:

sudo apt install ./package_name.deb

This way, the update worked correctly.

Could you please confirm whether the guide is outdated or if additional commands are required to perform the update properly?

The operating system version is Debian 12 (Linux).

The correct way of updating is the one documented here: https://docs.globaleaks.org/en/stable/setup/upgrade.html#regular-update

To clear any doubt it is not changed and the commands that you executed are not necessary.

Probably you might have incurred in some mistakes or error (e.g. expired signing key) and due to misunderstanding you headed finding your way out of the problem.
