Thank you for your question @matteoperazzolo The correct way of updating is the one documented here: https://docs.globaleaks.org/en/stable/setup/upgrade.html#regular-update To clear any doubt it is not changed and the commands that you executed are not necessary. Probably you might have incurred in some mistakes or error (e.g. expired signing key) and due to misunderstanding you headed finding your way out of the problem.
