Episode list in wrong order

I've just added Downton Abbey to my library. Can anyone tell me why the Specials episode list isn't in the right order? There are five Christmas specials from 2011 - 2015 but the list has 2014 and 2015 around the wrong way. I have 'Display specials within seasons they aired in' turned on and they are showing in the correct seasons. I've checked the filenames and the episode numbers are right. I've checked the metadata and aired dates are right.

Check the metadata if maybe a sorting title is accidentally set, and if the season/episode numbers are correct: Season: 0 Episode: X

I don't know how but it seems to have had something to do with the TVMaze plugin or having 'Display specials within seasons they aired in' turned on - or both. I had another series doing the same thing and both series were the only two added after installing TVMaze. I uninstalled the plugin and turned off specials in seasons, and everything is fine now.

Most probably TVMaze has the wrong order for some special episodes.
I recommend thetvdb.com as main metadata provider for shows. It's very accurate and also provides different orderings (aired, dvd, regional etc.) which helps if the episodes were not aired in the intended order. But be aware that the (rarely used) altdvd and alttwo orderings are currently not working via the API).

I checked on the TV Maze website and the episodes were correct. I don't understand how the plugin could have affected the order so it may not have been that.

Name the specials to:

S00E02.mkv Christmas at Downton Abbey
S00E03.mkv A Journey to the Highlands
S00E05.mkv The London Season
S00E06.mkv A Moorland Holiday
S00E11.mkv The Finale

Then place them in Season 00

Use thetvdb plugin turned on and name the series directory
Downton Abbey (2010) [tvdbid-193131]

thetvdb will add the correct metadata to each file with the correct play position such as "Airs after Season 2", etc.
