editable code cell with Jupyter 2

I found an older, and similar, question/answer back from January 2025 (work in progress at that time), so I was wondering if this has been solved. I am trying to have an editable code cell in-browser. I have set Jupyter: true in project in myst.yml, the "rocket ship" shows, the "power button" shows, and Jupyter appears to be initialized. However, my cell outputs goes dark and the code cells are not active. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Definitely still an open issue! I think we are tracking it in either mystmd or in myst-theme
