Trouble performing manual install of Karrio

Hi. I am trying to install Karrio manually on a Linux VM (using UTM) on my Mac and I am running into an error when I attempt to start the service using the 'docker-compose up -d' command. I receive an error stating that it failed to read the .env file - 'unexpected character ">" in variable name "cat > .env << EOL"'.

There were no errors creating the directory and downloading the docker compose file. Any idea what I am doing wrong?

ChatGPT suggested removing that line and that seemed to work? Still not sure if that is the correct thing to do. Now I am getting a Docker daemon socket error.

No daemon socket error any more, but after running docker-compose up -d, 8/9 steps are green. Network karrio_default, volume "karrio_postgres-data", and Volume "karrio_redis-data" are created, containers karrio.redis, karrio.mail, karrio.db, karrio.worker are started and karrio.dashboard is created. However, karrio.api is unhealthy.

Doh, just realized what the cat line is referring to. I'm used to using nano so cat didn't even register. Still have the issue with karrio.api container being unhealthy, though.

Can you share more about which installation method you are referring to out of

• The hobby script or
• cloning the repository.

I do have a Mac M3 for development and often test in a Digital Ocean Linux Ubuntu droplet.
Let me try, maybe I tripped up on my latest release, add OpenTelemetry
