Describe the feature or potential improvement
Hey everyone :)
Problem
Currently, when a trace has multiple tags, Langfuse aggregates them as a single combined value (e.g.
agent:upsell + agent:information).This makes it impossible to:
This is especially limiting when tags represent agents, roles, or routing logic.
Use Case
We use tags to identify which agent is called in a trace and want to:
This is not possible when tags are grouped together.
Example
agent:upsellagent:informationagent:upsell,agent:informationCurrent ❌
agent:upsell→ 1agent:information→ 1agent:upsell + agent:information→ 1Expected ✅
agent:upsell→ 2agent:information→ 2Proposed Solution
It would be useful if charts could treat each tag as an independent value, even when multiple tags are attached to the same trace.
In other words, tags should be counted separately per trace, rather than as a combined group.
This could be exposed as an optional chart aggregation mode to preserve current behavior.
Thanks 🙌
