As a workaround, you may consider editing the UI font size instead. Their default value are all "10". You can type "10.5" into the font selection dialogs. The value will stick. |

Another reason this should get implemented: the bigger text accessibility option push this text scaling setting to "1.25" behind the scene. But then the font selection dialog conflict with that and mangle the value. |

I have a 14" laptop with a res of 1366x768. The default size of the fonts is too hard for me to read, so I need to make it bigger. Fractional scaling doesn't work at all on my PC. Instead, I make the Text Scaling factor to 1.1. But that makes the font 'too big'.
If I manually put in 1.05, it accepts (not really, it previews) it, and then, as soon as I close it the scaling goes back to 1.1. I can check this by reopening the Font Selection window.
Please allow for more precise text scaling.
