I'm sorry if this disappoints you, but... Really bad + Stupid idea. Also, you should avoid LMDE for gaming. It is based on debian, which has more out-of-date packages than the original Mint, which uses ubuntu as its base. Any debian-based distro is one of the worst systems you could get for gaming. |

Hi there,
I am LM user who has always dual booted with Windows 10 to make some games work. Recently I tried Bazzite and it was amazing even though switching to KDE is a bit of a adjustment.
Thought I'd just ask you devs.. do you think it might be worthwhile to make a Linux Mint Gaming distro where everything works like Linux Mint but Steam and Proton are working out of the box and the kernel is more up to date??
I know it's more work but I do think Linux Mint can vastly expand their user base with a gaming targeted distro version.. like LMDE has it's lovers!
