Hi, I have been trying to install Linux Mint with encryption, but also with /home encrypted on another drive.
On Fedora or Opensuse this is very trivial to do.
Just make the partitions, select to encrypt, set the mountpoint and you're done.
But this is not possible with the installer Mint uses.
Maybe I'm missing something, but it doesn't seem to be very easy to do.

Also, I don't need LVM for that.
Why is LVM the default way to encrypt?
