Cinnamon 'File chooser / picker' hooverable filenames WITH thumbnail, like in KDE

Is it possible in Cinnamon, to add a thumbnail during use of File Chooser / Picker hovering over filename window? For instance when wanting to Save a picture one can hoover over the already present filenames, with a thumbnail appearing, so one can see if the pic already exist? ... Right now one has to 'click' on an existing filename to get the 'Preview Window' at the right postition, showing a thumbnail, but then one overwrites the name of the file to be saved in the upper filename editable space..

It's possible, because GIMP does it, but I think it's an application-level choice and not enforceable system-wide. Though I may be wrong. I do agree that it is a very helpful feature and should be standard.

Well, maybe this feature 'could' be activated in Nemo / Nautilus as well maybe.... I'm working with Cinnamon as well as Gnome as desktops on 1 pc; works wonderfully well! Would love the hovering option active!
