When I need to boot a live USB to fix my system, I tend to need, not only to configure themes to make the system into something that I deem usable (change to full dark theme, disable sound effects, disable window effects, change touchpad settings), but, also, to enable Nemo's open-terminal-here button. For, often, I need to mount my existing installation - which gets a long string as gibberish as its mount point - and then open that mount-point in a terminal.
The following irritates too: in the greeter, pressing the shutdown button generates a (slightly laborious) way of choosing between shutdown and reboot; yet, counter-intuitively (given that former functionality), pressing the power button immediately shuts down (whereas often Restart is what I want).
