Have the Sound Applet available on multiple panels

I'd love to be able to access the sound applet on all/multiple panels. I'm not sure why it's currently limited to 1, but when I have a full screen app (game, website, etc) it would be nice to still be able to access sound controls.

I think you can't because it controls media keys.
