Apologies if this is a feature request about something that is already implemented but I am almost positive it is not. I would like to suggest the ability for muffin to disable compositing for fullscreen videos. Currently, it seems that the toggle in Cinnamon's general settings for disabling fullscreen compositing only applies to graphical applications such as games.
My own experience where a feature like this would be useful is in remote desktop streaming and cloud gaming. I stream games through NVIDIA's GeForce NOW streaming service through chromium, and muffin's fullscreen compositing on top of the fullscreen video means there is a degree of input lag introduced. This effect is noticably absent when using a desktop with compositing disabled, such as XFCE or MATE. I know this is a bit of a specific usecase for a feature like this but I would like to recommended it as the popularity of cloud gaming and remote desktop video streaming services have grown exponentially and continue to do so. Thank you.
