The default installation of Nemo is pretty bare bones, you can install multiple Nemo extensions looking for "Nemo" in MintInstall. I'm not sure if there's a metadata extension for Nemo to download. Need to check myself when I'm back to my desktop |

Hello, I would really like to suggest an idea that is fatally missing from the file manager.
There is no Nemo in the file manager editing metadata, i.e. there is no such function to go into the properties of a media file (image files, documents, music/video) and change the names of a track, album, year, genre, comments, numbering and ratings, which is the default in Thunar in XFCE, for example.
Here's an example of this extension for Natuilus: https://github.com/nvlgit/nautilus-metadata-editor-extension

I hope that this will be implemented for the next release of Linux Mint 22.2, since there is no really necessary function and I am still surprised (in a bad way in the true sense of the word), that this valuable function is still missing.
