when will [or why not] nemo merge with xfce thunar under xapps?

Hi!
thanks a lot for such a wonderful desktop environment as the cinnamon (& the latest update v6.4.7 as well).

• as several apps are moved to xapps domain for all the DEs to use
• like xed text, xviewer image, xreader document, xplayer media etc

so, i was always wondering that

• when will nemo and thunar merge and become one beautiful file browsing app under xapps?
• or alternatively, is there any specific reason they can't be merged and have to be kept separate?
